It's not only cars that need a certificate to sell or transfer in Queensland. Trailers and caravans within a certain weight range, and motorcycles, need one as well. We handle those inspections where the vehicle is parked.
Caravans and trailers
Trailers and caravans with an ATM from 750 kg up to 3.5 t need a safety certificate to sell, transfer or re-register. We check the safety items that matter on a towed unit, including the brakes, coupling, lights, tyres and structure. Because we come to you, there's no towing the van across Brisbane just for an inspection.
Very light trailers under 750 kg ATM are treated differently, ask us if you're not sure where yours sits.
Motorcycles
Motorcycles need a safety certificate to sell or transfer, just like a car. We inspect the bike's brakes, tyres, lights, steering and general condition against the standard, and issue the certificate on site if it passes.
What if it doesn't pass?
We give you the list of what needs attention. For trailers and caravans in particular, small items like lights or worn tyres are common and easy to sort. Once fixed, we re-inspect.
Why book us
We come to the van, trailer or bike, so there's no towing or riding across town.
